I hear way too many stories of bad managers twisting their employees’ insides. The problems are on all sides, but onus for the solution is on the leader-managers because they are in the position of power and responsibility.
So, it starts with the beginning: Parents, treat your children well and teach them to respect themselves and others. It starts on the inside: Managers, envision first, then, work to become yourself at your best and lead your team thusly. It starts at the top: CEO’s, decide to communicate a culture in your organization where each person respects and is respected; understands that they are gathered here to contribute to a profitable organization; and is fully engaged to do just that.
